Brian Southworth was hired by the Decatur Board of Education on September 17, 2012 to lead the Decatur Public Schools' Athletic Programs. He has been an active participant in Raider Sports since he started coaching in 1987. Mr. Southworth has had a very successful coaching experience in Decatur. He has been the Varsity Wrestling Coach, the Varsity Track Coach and the JV Football Coach for years.
Mr. Southworth started his teaching career in Decatur in 1995 when he was hired as a teacher at Bergen Elementary School. Since then he has taught at all levels and currently is a High School Special Education Teacher.
