Welcome!

Welcome to Davis Elementary School!  It has been an honor as well as a pleasure to join the Davis Elementary Family.  In my first year as Davis Elementary Principal, I have loved getting to know the students, teachers, staff, and families.  I am excited to be working with all of them as well as our community.  

Our school has highly qualified, caring teachers and staff.  Decatur Elementary is truly a special place with a genuine family feel where students come first.  We take great pride in building relationships with students and staff, meeting the academic and social needs of our students, and using the whole child approach to ensure that each student is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.

Davis Elementary School Empowers, Engages, Provides for the Whole Child.

School Organization:
The school year at Davis Elementary School consists of two semesters of two marking periods each. Each marking period is nine weeks. Students have one exploratory class (Art, STEAM, Music, or P.E.) each day for forty minutes. Students have two recess periods daily.

Davis Elementary School Staff Members:
All staff meet the No Child Left Behind standard of Highly Qualified.

Curriculum:
The Davis Elementary curriculum emphasizes a well rounded curriculum of Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Technology, and the Arts.
